Addresses all Federal Acquisition Institute overarching competency: requirements/management development process.
Promotes industry best practices as established by PMI's PMBOK Guide® 4th Edition regarding project risk.
Establishes the importance of risk response planning within the frame work of the applicable risk strategy. Participants will identify and analyze risks within the frame work of integrated management planning and integrated management scheduling.
Identifies tools and techniques for qualitative and quantitative risk, maintaining a risk register using expert judgment, model simulation, expected monetary value analysis and sensitivity analysis as they might apply to cost, resources, schedule, security and performance as a continuous monitoring and controlling requirement.
Participants will learn the basics of risk response planning strategies, identifying negative and positive risk, exploiting risk opportunities, and work around strategies as a proactive risk management option.
Participants receive five (5) customizable templates to assist them in managing the risk on their projects.
